VOLUNTEER & RAISE FUNDS
We use about 300-400 volunteers at every festival and all of them raise funds for their organization or favorite charity. We work with non-profit groups, civic organizations, military organizations and corporations that have foundations or businesses who want to volunteer and donate to their favorite cause!
Individual can volunteer also, so you don't have to belong to a club or organization. We also have leadership volunteer positions as SuperStar Volunteers or Board Members.

Organizational or Corporate Volunteer Groups: When sign-ups for a specific festival goes "live" scroll down to the blue box below and click on the SignUp Logo box to find your organization. You DO NOT have to wait for your group leader to send you info, just go ahead and sign up and start getting your groups spots filled.
SuperStar, Individual & Board Member Volunteers coordinate directly with our Volunteer Manager to get signed up for a festival.

BUY EVENT VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT:
Group Volunteers: We encourage you to wear your own organizational clothing (if you have it). We do not give you a free t-shirt since we are making a donation to your organization. But if you would LIKE to buy an event volunteer shirt, you can purchase one for a festival before the deadline.
You will get a confirmation email from PayPal when you complete your order and then you pick shirt up at Volunteer Check-In on Fri before (if we have them) or day of the fest. BUY VOL SHIRTS BELOW:

Volunteer groups - SIGN UP ON-Line:
Charitable, Non-profit or Service Organizations or Businesses with a charitable foundation or initiative that want to raise money for their cause need to pre-register with us and provide us a Group Leader to coordinate with.
When is it time for a festival, your organization is assigned jobs or "spots" to fill. We use a on-line program call SIGNUP. There is a deadline to sign up and if you don't fill all your spots, they are given to other groups. Once you know sign-ups are "live" you can go sign up anytime.
To sign up for your spot, click on the SIGNUP logo on this page and find your organization. View the spots that are assigned. Pick what you want to sign up. The program will send you a confirmation email and a reminder email. When you come work your shift, you will sign in/out on your org's sign-in sheet.
MAKE SURE YOU CAN DO THE JOB YOU SIGN UP FOR! MOST JOBS INVOLVE STANDING OR WALKING, AND SOME LIKE LOGISTICS OR HEAVING LIFTERS, REQUIRE THE ABILITY TO PICK UP CASES OF WINE, CLIMB A LADDER OR DRIVE A GOLF CART. After an event is over, the hours worked by your group are totaled and we make a donation to your organization, usually paying about $12 per hour.

Individual volunteers need to directly contact our Volunteer Manager (VM) to sign up to work.
Our VM will let you know what jobs are open and will manually input you into an assigned job in the signup program. You will get a confirmation email and reminders via our signup program.
Shifts are usually 4-5 hours or you can choose to work more than one shift. Indiv Vol get an event shirt, and then choose to: a) donate their hours to a charitable cause, b) $15 gift card to a local restaurant.

superstar volunteers - sign up w/ vol Mgr:
This very special group of folks are part of our "Event Staff" and supervise an area of the festival or play a key-role in logistics. They usually work 10+ hours day of the festival, and some also the days before and after a festival. They return year after year, and also assist us in-between festivals. Donations are made for their hours worked to their favorite charitable organization. They get those super cool "Event Staff" clothing that includes shirts & shirts!

CORPORATE VolunteerS - Sign Up On-LINE

VOLUNTEER RECEPTION - MAY 7, 2025
At the end of our season we host an annual reception and recognize all the benefiting organizations and volunteer groups that receive donations. This reception is held in the evening at the Smithfield Center. Invitations and more info will come later, but save the date.
