Bourbon List & Stations:
With our Virginia ABC permit for the festival, we can only serve bourbon that is purchased at VA ABC stores. We have to purchase bourbon just like you do and deal with all of the special products, one bottle per person, and the bourbon lotteries! Our Bourbon Acquisition Team works hard ALL YEAR to be able to offer you an interesting selection of bourbons. We are limited to what we can obtain via VA ABC, and may not purchase bourbon out-of-state or order it on line from various internet sources.

HOW DO BOURBON TASTINGS WORK? If you purchased a bourbon ticket, you will be given a special (10) tabbed wristband when you enter the gate. You also get a special bourbon tasting glass that has a (1/2) oz. mark on it for your bourbon tastings and a (1.5 ) oz. mark for your brew tastings. Do not take the tabs off of your wristband yourself, our bourbon pourers will do that when they give you a tasting. Decide what bourbons you want to taste and then bring your tasting glass to the station! If you want to do some of the VA Brew Tastings, just use your bourbon glass and head over to the Brew Village.
VISIT THE BOURBON INFO & BOURBON ICE TENT:
Want to know what bourbons are at which booth? They will be listed on a sign at the booth and you can also pick up a bourbon card & a pencil at the Bourbon Info & Ice Tent. That way you can keep track of what you tasted and make notes for future reference. You can also use the QR code on signs at the festivals to view the bourbon list by station and descriptions.
Like your bourbon chilled? BEFORE YOU start tasting, go pick up a complimentary small cup of ice. Get your tasting first and then pop a cube in your glass. Please do NOT PUT ice in your tasting glass before you get a pour.
