Who is Smithfield VA Events?
Smithfield VA Events was a vision over a decade ago, and we held our first festival in 2012. The concept was to utilize the new Windsor Castle Park and it’s beautiful historic grounds as a backdrop to create something special that would benefit the community.
Our festivals have grown from our signature spring Wine & Brew Fest to the current Trio of Festivals that include the fall Bacon & Bourbon Fest and the funky-fun oyster BOB Fest in January. We also host two upscale Manor House Dinners (Bourbon & Wine). Annually we donate over $200,000 back to over (50) organizations a variety of ways.
We select benefiting organizations each year, donate back to groups that volunteer, make donations on behalf of individuals who volunteer to their favorite charity and support other’s fundraisers by donating tickets, tables and chalets for them to use to raise funds at their own events. The funds donated to all of these organizations assist them in fulfilling their important missions & causes that benefit the community.
Smithfield VA Events is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that is managed by an all volunteer board of directors and operates as an independent 100% self-funded, self-supported organization.

Since we are 100% self-funded, direct support of Smithfield VA Events increases our ability to support the community from proceeds from the festivals.
Who do we support?

Each festival $40-$50,000 is donated to organizations that volunteer, or individuals who choose to donate their hours to a charitable cause.
Annually we donate over $200,000 back to the community.
