We donate over $200,000 annually back to the community from the proceeds from our festivals,  but we are a 100% self-funded non-profit also.

Who is Smithfield VA Events?
Smithfield VA Events was a vision over a decade ago, and we held our first festival in 2012.  The concept was to utilize the new Windsor Castle Park and its beautiful historic grounds as a backdrop to create something special that would benefit the community. 

Our festivals have grown from our signature spring Wine & Brew Fest to the current Trio of Festivals that include the fall Bacon & Bourbon Fest and the funky-fun oyster BOB Fest in January. We also host two upscale Manor House Dinners (Bourbon & Wine). Annually we donate over $225,000 back to over (50) organizations a variety of ways and produce over $1,000,000 in economic impact. 

​We select benefiting organizations each year, donate back to groups that volunteer, make donations on behalf of individuals who volunteer to their favorite charity and support other’s fundraisers by donating tickets, tables and chalets for them to use to raise funds at their own events. The funds donated to these organizations assist them in fulfilling their important missions & causes that benefit the community.

Smithfield VA Events is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that is managed by an all-volunteer board of directors and operates as an independent 100% self-funded, self-supported organization. ​

What we do for the community is extraordinary. You can support us by making a donation to Smithfield VA Events or contact our Festival Director if you are interested in a corporate partnership. Since we are 100% self-funded, your direct support of Smithfield VA Events increases our ability to support the community from proceeds from the festivals. 
Who do we support?
Over the last decade, we have supported over 90+ different charitable organizations. Some of them are grant recipients as a Benefiting Organization. Click here to see the list of past grant recipients. 

Each festival $40-$50,000 is donated to organizations that volunteer, or individuals who choose to donate their hours to a charitable cause. 

Annually we donate over $225,000 back to the community.

1) Click donate button and wait for it to upload (slow sometimes...grrr).

2) Enter the amount of your donation. 

3) Choose pay with your PayPal account OR to pay with a debit/credit card. 

4) Continue the payment process until completed. 

5) Once you complete your transaction you will be redirected to a "thank you" page. 

6) You will get a confirmation email from PayPal - Save it as your receipt for tax purposes.

CORPORATE PARTNER DONATIONS  
Interested in supporting us as a corporate donor? 

Of course you can be a festival sponsor and enjoy coming to our events, but a corporate donation made to Smithfield VA Events directly supports Smithfield VA Events as a non-profit.

Donations can be made anytime of year. Available to any business, you do not have to be a festival sponsor to participate.

You can use the donate on-line button below or you can mail a check. Or if you are a festival sponsor on the bottom of you sponsor agreement you can add on a donation.
