8K Chilly BOB Roadrace Info:

RACE DATE: January 15, 2022 - Race Start 8:00 am

Pre-Package Pick Up:  
Fri, Jan 14th, at site on front steps of SVAEvents HQ Command Center from 4:30-7:00 pm. (optional).

Sat Jan 15th, 7:00 AM:
Day of Check-in & Package Pick-up & Day of Registration. 

Race is open to all ages, but BOB Fest Party is 21 & up only. 

BOB FEST PARTY INFO:
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM - BOB PARTY ENTRY FOR 8K RUNNERS who purchase tickets with race entry.

12:00 - 4:00 PM - GENERAL ADMISSION to BOB PARTY.

Register for Race by Dec 29th and you have option to add in a long sleeve event tech shirt for $15. 

Want to run & come to the BOB Party? Tix are $65 each.
Choose the entry options that add in the BOB Party Tix. You add in one or two tickets to your race entry. There are (150) tickets to the BOB Fest party set aside for 8K runners. They are available until the block sells out or DEC 15th.

If you need more than two tix, you will have to purchase them thru other methods. 

  • $45 Race Entry with Shirt. No Party Tix.  Deadline to register is December 29th.

  • $30 Race Entry ONLY. No Shirt/No Party Tix.  Deadline to pre-register is Jan 8th. 

  • $40 DAY OF RACE ENTRY.  No Shirt/No Party. Starts at 7 AM on Jan 15th at the site. 

  • $95 Race Entry w/ (1) BOB PARTY TIX - 21 & up ONLY. Deadline is when block is sold out or DEC 15th, which ever comes first. 

  • $160 Race Entry w/ (2) BOB PARTY TIX - 21 & UP ONLY. Deadline when block is sold out or DEC 15th, which ever comes first. . 

Other important 8K info...

A block of  BOB FEST party tickets are reserved for race entries. 8K Party tickets are available until the block is sold out or until December 15th. After Dec 15th the race block of party tickets will roll over to folks on the wait list who don't want to run but just want party tickets. 

So if you want to come to the party, sign up early! We anticipate the event to sell out quickly when regular general admission party tix go on sale (first release) DEC 1st at 7:00 AM to 7 PM & (second release) DEC 2nd at 7:00 PM.

If you need more than (2) party tickets you will need to purchase them at general tix releases.

Please DO NOT TURN on Old Jericho Rd off of S. Church if coming in from the side of town with Smithfield Station. 

Go one more block and turn on Cedar Street to get to the event site please.  Old Jericho is a historic brick super tiny road and we try to limit event traffic.  The morning of the event, that road is closed at 8:00 AM to event traffic. 

Race starts and ends at the historic Manor House area at Windsor Castle Park, goes out Cedar Street to Mason Street (by Trinity United Methodist Church), then turn around, head back, but nip thru Jericho Estates by taking a right on Trumpet Road.  Due to potential winter conditions race will be held on roads, not on the trails at the park.

Complimentary water bottles will be provided for runners during the race. Race Awards will follow immediately after race results are processed at the Start/Finish line. In the event of inclement weather, Awards will be moved into the party tent. If you don't have a BOB Fest ticket, you will have to leave the party tent immediately following race awards. 

After the race awards,  you can come to the party (8K runners get early entry at 11 am) as you are, or if local you can go home and change. If non-local you are welcome to return to your hotel or take advantage of the LUTER FAMILY YMCA shower facilities after the race. Or come as you are - runner attire is totally acceptable.
