Benefiting Organization Grants:

Smithfield VA Events donates proceeds  back to the community a variety of ways.  One way is that we select Benefiting Organizations for $5000 or $10,000 grants from each festival. Annually we usually award about $70,000 between the (3) festivals. 

Non-profit organizations that supports citizens or programs in Smithfield or Isle of Wight Virginia are eligible to apply. You do not have to be a volunteer group to be a grant recipient.

Applications for 2024 festivals will be available by the end of May and will be accepted until Aug 31, 2023.

How to Submit a Grant Application: 
The next round of grants will be for festivals held in the calendar year of 2024. Announcements of awards will be by mid-late November of 2023. 

1) Before completing the application, review the Instructions & General Info, and Scoring Criteria by clicking on the boxes below. 

​2) Complete your application, save it in the required format,  and email it in per the instructions to Grants@SmithfieldVAEvents.com by the Aug 31, 2023 deadline.
