You have options for full refund, to roll to next year or to donate some or all, or to roll it to the April 9, 2022 Wine & Brew Fest. Sponsors refunds are still in progress. BOB FEST & 8K CHILLY BOB ROADRACE SCHEUDLED FOR JAN 15, 2022 IS CANCELLED.
With an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our volunteers and attendees and with extreme frustration, Smithfield VA Events has made the tough decision to cancel the January 15, 2022 BOB Fest & 8K Chilly BOB Roadrace.
We were hopeful when, in late October, we chose to move forward with this event, that a winter wave of increased COVID cases would not occur. Although the impact and velocity of that is still questionable, the risks of conducting a large indoor crowded event that meets our high standards of quality in a few weeks is too great.
By making this decision now, instead of waiting another week or two when we would have had incurred many more expenses, we are able to offer full-value options to our attendees regarding their tickets, tables, and sponsorships. Although general admission tickets were originally non-refundable for any reason, and early bird tickets and sponsorships were only partially refundable if we had to cancel for covid related reasons, we felt being able to refund was important.
We will be contacting all those who purchased tickets, tables & sponsorship individually the week of December 27-31st. See the white info box for details on your refund options.
We are moving forward with our April 9, 2022 Wine & Brew Fest and we look forward to seeing you in the Spring! Early Bird Tix are on sale now and General Admission Tix go on sale Feb 16 & 17th.
